i somewhat sporadically put together zines of leftovers and various other images under the name HATEFUCK. i've posted about it on here before. the latest, although not necessarily recent issue, number 3, was just reviewed in the may issue of THRASHER.

PR!MO has been dealing with the releases and contracts to get the video he put together for onto current TV. things are looking good. just waiting for the date. did this installation in his office.

never been a proponent of photocopied posters. but it is what it is. ran off some 23"x35"s of this WTL poster on the large format printer at the behest of willow from HATETANK. i don't know if this really has anything to do with the original intention of this blog/site.

shedding winter

DTS ran this warehouse for a while. there's too much real estate to fuck with spot jocking and crossing out. not to mention my respect for the stranglehold DTS has had on houston for the past 10 or 12 years. but when the spot got buffed the I-10 visibility was too hard to pass up. DUAL and i talked about doing this together but it didn't work out. i really could have used his letter help.

after talking for some time but never getting it together we did finally get something going.

i don't like most 'street art'. i think it's boring and predictable and repetitive. but i really like the direction that DUAL is coming from and i think his work stands out from the crowd. i'm glad we got to hook this up and hope we can again in the future.

and some other shit from along the way

got things coming up in MARFA and NEW YORK in the near future. more on that soon.

the fatality of technology. with all it's inherent holes. click click click click counting keystrokes of things immaterial. but i'm caught in internet relevance. some of this may have been a little long in coming.

houston press announcement for the aerosol warfare gallery show

got an early copy of CLERK FLUID'S new book. over 300 pages of his writings from as well as other musings on art and the workings of the art industry. this is the most bitter, cynical, stabbing, hilarious, and true commentary on art and the art community i've ever seen. if you can get a copy, well worth the read.

and i'm not just saying that because of the BGPs in one of the random urban landscape photos that are scattered throughout the book.

visited the new DOMY bookstore and gallery in austin. they should be open for business by the time this hits the screen. on cesar chavez just east of 35.

a lot bigger than the houston space, and with a gallery specific room for installations, etc. copies of the 'lonely days and wasted nights' book should be available at both the houston and new austin locations.

more graphic design type work. but something i couldn't not do. it's been a good run guys. a lot of good years, good times. a lot of roads traveled. the last recordings WILL TO LIVE did were definitely the hardest and heaviest of their career. hopefully they'll see the light of day posthumously. until then or

25 of these 11x17 prints on heavy card will be available at the show.

Thursday, April 3, 2008 in the DEATHWISH estore

deathwish inc. has recently picked up some copies of the 'lonely days and wasted nights' book to carry in their estore. i've been a big supporter of deathwish and impressed with what they've done both audio and visual since day one. and i am extremely honored to have them carrying my book.

visit and the books are available under the 'distributed titles' section of their estore. or just click the banner above and look around.
