printed by LOGAN HILL at CORONADO STUDIO at the same time as the PASSAGE VII prints. the original glove image from a photo by GIVE UP, photocopy manipulated and enlarged to the final art without the use of photoshop or other computer means. the films then handed over to LOGAN for screening. printed using an acrylic based metallic silver ink, tinted with process black.

coronado visit

spent a few days this past week working on a new print for COLD BLOODED EDITIONS at CORONADO STUDIO. the initial artwork was created in regular GIVE UP manner by manipulating photos at a photocopier and assembling by hand with scissors and glue. the respective color layers for the 5 color print were then blocked out and separated with a razor and a light table. the films then handed off to master printers LOGAN HILL and JONATHAN REBOLLOSO. while i enjoy the print process, and take some level of pride in historically doing all of my own printing, it was a bit of a luxury to oversee someone else doing it. couldn't be happier with the finished product or the process. thanks guys.
