i didn't realize it was already that time of year again. or that my work was even in consideration. but in the new houston press 'best of houston' 2008 GIVE UP is named as the best graffiti artist. i don't consider myself a graffiti writer, and there are a lot of writers and crews that have been grinding it out a lot harder than me, but i'm not mad at it at all.
what really got me was also being named 'best local artist' in the readers poll. a big thank you to anyone who had a hand in either of these.
in the same issue this girl is wearing a GIVE UP shirt in a contemporary arts museum ad. houston press is killing it this week.
